The basic principle
The UriGienic is a stainless steel cylindrical structure that is above ground during peak times. As soon as peace and quiet descends on the entertainment district once more, the attendant on duty simply pushes a button and the UriGienic vanishes underground, completely out of sight. Semi-permanent
The UriGienic is only above ground during peak times. At all other times it is underground. When streets and squares are renewed or redesigned, the UriGienic can be moved quickly and easily to any other desired location.

Street cover
Once the UriGienic is underground, all that remains visible in the pavement is the circular cover. These covers are designed to withstand traffic class 45 and come in 200 colours. If desired the existing paving can be used to achieve a fully integrated result.
Virtually no control and maintenance required
The UriGienic needs virtually no maintenance. It is self-cleaning, unnecessary elements have been done away with, and the material used is strong, rounded and smooth. Outside peak times the Urilift is underground and does not need to be attended to at all. Urilift BV takes care of maintenance and relocation, if required.
Easy
The attendant on duty has a remote control to operate the UriGienic. A simple press of the button is all that’s needed to bring it above ground, or to make it disappear underground again. Organisations such as the local sanitation department, the police, security firms or hotels, restaurants and bars could be given the job of carrying out this simple procedure.
Drains
The UriGienic is connected to the mains sewer, so that interim cleaning is unnecessary. The UriGienic can be used for an unlimited length of time without causing any odour nuisance whatsoever.
Water
The UriGienic is connected to the water mains.
Electricity
The UriGienic is connected to the electricity mains, so that it can be lighted and heated. The lighting ensures that the UriGienic is easy to find and safe to use, while the heating prevents the UriGienic from freezing up so that it can be used in the winter too.
